Weigh-in #17: 5.4 lbs!! So I know I didn’t post an update last week, but there was really nothing to report. Since I started eating some real food again, I only lost 0.2 lbs. Yay water weight!! But this week, holy cow!! I have no clue how that happened!! WOO!!
On a not-so-great note, I had some horrible cramps over the weekend. I ate well, but had steak and lean ground turkey instead of my usual chicken breast and fish fillets. The cramps happened about an hour after I ate and lasted for hours. I told my doctor about that when I went in for my weigh-in today and the first thing he said was it’s probably my gallbladder. So they drew blood to check on my liver. If that comes back abnormal, it’s off to my regular doctor for an ultrasound/x-ray on my gallbladder to see if there’s something going on in there. Talk about a downer. I’m trying SO HARD to do something good for my body and it starts turning against me. UGH!
Result of weigh-in #15: 3.2 lbs! Woo! And the best part? I am past the Optifast and on to Optitrim! So now I get to have 4 Opti-meal replacements and 1 real meal a day, so about 1000 calories a day, give or take. My first meal tonight: a pollock fillet and mixed veggies. Sooooo good, haha!

Result of weigh-in #14: 4.4 lbs! Not as much as I was hoping for, but still pretty great! Only 2 more weeks of full meal replacement, then about a month and a half of partial meal replacement. Can’t wait to eat real food again, so close!!
Also can’t wait for June to come around: the Color Run at the beginning of the month and then towards the middle of the month the bf and I are taking a week long vacation together. Well, us and the dog. So much to look forward to :)

Ahh! Just got an EOB from my insurance and they’re gonna cover a good chunk of this weight loss program!!! Soooooo excited, this is gonna make my finances give a big, much needed sigh of relief.
Result of weigh-in #13: a mere 0.2 lbs, lol. This week was, well… funky. I’m being moved to a new team at work and my new boss wanted to go out to lunch, so instead of making things awkward and trying to explain to her that I’m on a “liquid diet”, I just went with it and tried to make healthy choices. That was Friday. Thursday the same thing happened, but with my entire new team. My company had a celebration for their 30th anniversary on Saturday (which was a blast!) and C2E2 was on Sunday. Sooooo, I’m just glad I didn’t GAIN any weight! It’s back to it now!
Super fun time at C2E2 today! Disappointed we didn’t get to meet John Cusack, even though we got there super early and tried out best. Oh well! The Q&A with him was totally awesome though.
reblog if you are too. i wanna follow you!

So I’m fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally starting to get over getting sick. Seriously, this thing lasted like a week and half, and it’s still sorta lingering. Like, wtf? I hate having asthma. That’s one thing I’m hoping that losing weight will help improve. I don’t think I’ll ever be “cured” of my asthma, as I’ve had it ever since I was a super young kid (i.e. before I had issues with weight), but it’ll help, that’s for sure.
Anywho… Busy weekend coming up! My company is celebrating their 30th anniversary with a big paaaartay on Saturday, and let me tell you, they are quite the bunch of partiers, so it’ll be interesting at the very least. Aaaaand Sunday is C2E2 in Chicago! If I’m lucky I’ll be able to snag a pic with John Cusack! Haha, yeah right, here’s hoping!
Results for weigh-in 12: 5.4 lbs lost! Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I’m sick. Ugh. Been sick since last Tuesday, so working out has been basically nonexistent. But on the bright side, I’m another notch down on my belt, I’m 2 full pant sizes down, and they’re LOOSE! Now if this cold or whatever this is would go awaaaaay. Ugh.
